Yes. The Slash uses a fully sealed CarbonTex drag protected by seven seals.
What warranty does the Slash come with?
Every Slash has a lifetime warranty on the carbon frame and spool for as long as you own it.
Can I service the Slash myself?
Yes. You can swap the spool and service the drag by hand with no tools, and every internal part is replaceable. A full set of internals is sold as the Slash rebuild kit.
Where are Conflux reels made?
Conflux reels are designed and handmade in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Do Conflux fly boxes float?
Yes. Deep Mission fly boxes are machined from 6061 aluminium, sealed with an O-ring and closed with magnets, and they float if you drop one in the river.
